In a distance of only 3,000 feet, we will show you 3 magnificent highlights: Mexico City's historical cemetery from the 19th century which guards magnificent artistic monuments as well as the remains of many national heroes, the National Museum of San Carlos guarding masterpieces of art from the Renaissance on,  and the observation decks and museum at the Monument to the Civil Revolutionary War facing the urban axel that faces directly towards the National Palace.

  • Immerse yourself in the elegance of one of Mexico City's classical historic sites.

  • This tour combines a leisurely stroll on the oldest street in town to the site of an old cigarette factory, whose owner left his palace as an art museum.

  • To top it off, we will visit the Monument to the Civil Revolutionary war, from its foundations to its observation deck with a 360 degree view of the western end of the Historic Center.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

From San Fernando’s famous cemetery and the tomb of Benito Juarez among many others, we will start exploring this church’s unique cemetery. We will see from little personal niches to beautiful and magnificent tombs of the rich and some of national heroes, while walking through real historical grounds.

The main church faces Tacuba (Tlacopan) Avenue, the oldest street in town, on which we will stroll for a couple of blocks arriving at the National Museum of San Carlos. The unique oval patio of the building makes it an art piece by itself.

After the museum we will walk a couple of blocks to Plaza de la Republica that hosts the magnificent arch or Monument to the Civil Revolutionary War. As an architectural marble itself, we will visit its foundations along with the National Museum of the Revolutionary War before taking a lift to the dome.

This 150 ft high elevator will take us inside the monument's dome that hosts a cafeteria an a 360 degree observation deck, where we will go through the city's expansion history.

WHERE YOU WILL BE

We will be in the colonias Guerrero and Tabacalera, where all venues are located as well as a historical building called Fronton Mexico that we will get to admire from outside.
