  • Historical Insight: Learn about the pre-Hispanic period, including the cultural and societal structures of civilizations like the Aztecs and Maya. This terrace will set the stage for understanding the evolution of Mexican culture.

2. Colonial Bar Terrace

  • Location: The second bar represents the colonial era, capturing the essence of Mexico City during Spanish rule. The bar’s decor and ambiance will reflect colonial architecture and style.

  • Experience: Sip on classic colonial-era drinks such as mezcal or tequila. These spirits were refined during the Spanish colonial period and have become integral to Mexican culture.

  • Historical Insight: This stop will offer a glimpse into the Spanish influence on Mexican culture, including how the colonial period shaped the city’s architecture, cuisine, and social customs.

3. Modern Bar Terrace

  • Location: The final bar terrace represents modern Mexico, showcasing contemporary design and innovation. This is where you’ll experience the fusion of traditional and modern influences.

  • Experience: Enjoy modern cocktails or craft beers that reflect today’s vibrant Mexican bar scene. This terrace is perfect for exploring how Mexican drinks and culinary trends have evolved.

  • Historical Insight: Learn about the transformation of Mexico City into a global metropolis and how modern influences are shaping the city’s cultural and social landscape.

4. Taqueria Stop

  • Location: At this point, you’ll visit a local taqueria, a quintessential part of Mexican culinary culture.

  • Experience: Sample a variety of tacos, including favorites such as tacos al pastor, tacos de carnitas, or tacos de cochinita pibil. Each taco will offer a different flavor profile, showcasing the diversity of Mexican street food.

  • Local Drinks: Pair your tacos with traditional Mexican drinks like agua fresca, horchata, or Mexican beer.
